I your brain is faulty, this is a serious problem

II your ram is faulty, run memtest from bios, this is actually solvable

I'll look to see if the bios has a "memtest"

It was the RAM. I missed it the first time because both RAM sticks were defective and the other computer was being used so I couldn't swap anything out
