I'm having a difficult time finding an answer for this in google.

In Crysis (not sure about Crysis Wars) in DX10 I can't interact with the environment (ie. trees won't break, I can't pick up an through objects), however, this restriction should only occur in the DX9 version. This occurs in both the 32 and 64 bit versions, and for dedicated or non dedicated servers.

Any one know if it is even possible to break trees in multiplayer?

Oh My God it's like everyone is taking crazy pills. Read this article then revise your statement. Fuck!

What this means, is that if you want to play on maps where you can shoot down trees, blow up buildings or make holes in walls, etc, you'll need to be playing in DX10 mode on a DX10 server.

So you found the answer yourself via Google anyway?

You got some useful information out of this forum already (on building a new PC), that's already pretty unique, the odds that this were to happen twice in a short period of time are pretty much neglectable, particularly not if the replies are coming from anyone whose nick begins with "Dick" or "Fuck".
