I sold my copy and will buy it again once I have a new PC. This seems like a game in which graphics are important, so I want to experience them in full.
when i played it i had an athlon 64 x2 4800+ (2.4ghz) and 8800GT 512 mb card. and i was able to play it comfortably at 1680x1050 at hi end settings. if there are shadows then set it to low or med.

Haven't ran into elves yet in any Gothic game, but a lot of wolves yes. There are no aliens or mutants in the Gothic games though.
Magic is >99% optional; I always ignore magic in RPG's (if possible) and specialize in axe (alternatively sword) fighting instead.

I just finished it a few weeks ago I give it a 7 only because replying it 5 times for all the crap is stupid, I could handle playing this twice but no more they just made the reply of it worthless trying to make you reply it so much IMO. that and the PC port could use some polish....
Anyone know where I can get a save game that has it on impossible with the militarily and hazard suit schematics,1o nodes and 100K$? I don't care about the weapons they can be redone at any time.

And if you find one with the 2 schematics that would be perfect, the suit dose not even have to be upgraded much, its jsut I want to be able to buy those 2 things when I can!

well i played deadspace only once and after i completed the game i got them all unlocked! because i played in the hard difficulty in the first place. dont know if i have the same game...

I played hard as well, however I unlocked imposable and the military suit, you play through it again and get the hazard suit.....
I hate grinding so multi playthrews are a no no for me, however I would like to play through it with everything unlocked in the store but without the suit being leveled up, frankly max HP on the suit makes the game to easy >>

DS2s system requirements are even below my almost 6 year old PC, so unless this is a really well-coded scalable title like HL2, it will have some really dated graphics. Given that it will be a console port again, it seems really unlikely however that the HL2 exception will apply.
