k man, well I kind of like the mario theme but keep the OLD middle finger logo, it's perfectly fine as it is, in my opinion.
And I like the Mario theme but it could be improved.
Edit: Try making a bigger jumping Mario for example...

its not a mario theme. its got sonic and knucles, contra too.....the idea is to attract ppl to vgs by putting those game friendly themes. the size of the mario is fine, if it was bigger it would loose the importance of vgs. try to think with your brain for once.

no its nothing to do with pc gamers or console gamers. its to make the site visitor friendly......any random normal person looks at the current shitty banner and he will fuck off from the site without reading the reviews or consider it a joke, unless he is retarded ( hint hint). you need to coax the person first before stuffing your shit down the throat.
by putting those mario/contra/sonic figures it draws the avg gamer in to take a peek. although he will shit in his pants after reading the reviews, those game figures will probably make him feel a bit comfortable and cheerful after the bashing. And ofcourse retards have the mfinger and that retarded smiley to make them feel right at home.

I understand using video game icons but for fuck sake, please don't use something so CONSOLE. Well either way, the banner looks shitty. It's not a matter of not liking the consolization, it's the fact that it just looks bad.
The current banner is kinda ugly but it's the best i've seen so far.

I think it is definitely an improvement. I liked the first logo (with the bulldozer) best, but Suislide seems to have ruled out that one. I do not like the middlefinger, it seems so adolescent. The site should have a serious look then the contents come the more as a surprise.
