The point is, we are fucking gamers. Those sites just advertise games. It's like you're listening to the fucking publishers, not someone neutral, like it should be. And NO, i don't buy that bullshit that they need the money from the companies to keep the sites going. If you have enough users you don't need them unless you wanna make A LOT of money, in which case, fuck you.

I too don't see the point in being neutral when doing reviews. It's not like, when playing the games, gamers are neutral about their experience.
If I hate a game I paid for, I hate it with a passion. Then you go on Gamespot and they gave it favorable reviews.

No you're right, if someone pays you, you have a vested interest in supporting the game and therefore, you are not neutral (you are biased).
However, someone reading these reviews would automatically label us as biased (not neutral), b/c we have so much anger in our reviews. I don't agree with that, but that's the impression we'd give out.
Let me go on record as saying that a lot of the reviews written here shower the game with praise (FEAR, Half Life 2), and a good handful have been middle of the line

Yes, most of the reviews here are angry and hateful but that's because MOST games fucking suck.
I for one, pay nothing for games so i judge completely on the gameplay. And even by not paying ANYTHING i still don't play most games more than 15 minutes until i see what pieces of shit they are.

I totally agree with you, but some idiot looking at gamespot's seemingly middle of the road approach to reviewing games, and VGS' approach to flying off the handle, said idiot is going to conclude that ours is wrong, and theirs is right (do I need an apostrophe on 'ours' and 'theirs'?).
