Thanks, you've saved me some...torrent download time.

But i dunno, couldn't you say something about it? No heavy spoilers, just...some info on why it sucks.

Sure, I just don't like starting topics with a long winded post. Here are some random reasons why the movie is terrible (I'll refrain from posting spoilers)

-The movie starts out with some written info basically summing up the previous 3 movies, which I thought was a cheap attempt at bringing the viewers up to speed wrt the franchise
-The characters do stupid things like hotwire a motorcycle with a USB kit, break into skynet by prying open a conviently placed panel with a standard knife, and in one scene there is a stick disk...
-Every fight has that "Gladiator" effect in that the scene moves around violently so you can't see the action (this is mostly done to achieve a PG 13 rating). You get this massive explosion but it's only shown for 0.3 seconds...what a waste of CGI
-The fact that it's PG 13
-The fact that there's no [single] bad guy
-The fact that one of the first scenes made little to no sense
-Plot holes like a terminator(ish) punching a guy without killing him, but later said terminator(ish) guy can take on a T800 terminator!
-One character that roars repeatedly and without provocation
-In one scene, the terminator(ish) guy wrestles a snake-bot, at which point I was like "wtf?"
-terminators who grab you and throw you, instead of crushing your shoulder or your kneck.
-terminators keeping key people alive for absolutely no reason
-An absolutely ridiculous scene where one character rips what for all extensive purposes might as well be an extension cord from the wall and uses it as a defibrillator
-terminators who can't aim for shit
-and the one thing that is unforgiveable is that a lot of the non-CGI special effects were worse than that in Terminator 2!! The terminators no longer were made of chrome, but what seemed like tin.

Oh my fucking god, they still DO this shit? When a very powerful enemy just THROWS someone for no other reason than to prevent the LOGICAL instant kill. I've seen hundreds of shit like this. If somenone throws someone else against a wall, 100% it will eventually lose the fight. They might as well stab themselves to save the hero the trouble.
One of the most cheap and fucking pathetic signs of retarded writing.

Also, what the fuck is the point of this movie? The first 3 at least had a consistent theme. Even if the 3 sucked shit. A terminator is a fucking bad ass, you'd have a really hard time killing one. That's why you're interested in them, that's why they're more than just human sized androids from any other sci fi movie. From what you and others have said, now they're pansies.

There's another scene where it's choking someone, and another even more absurd where it's holding someone down.

To reboot a franchise (and destroy it in the process)

Even worse, you don't get the sense of a perpetual war. In T1 you saw skirmishes between the resistence and the machines. In T2 the movie starts with a massive T800 raid on the resistance. This one starts out in a hospital...
