Let's hope I get listed on there this time. Tried before and they always deny me, but this time we should be lucky!

Did they state any reasons for the rejection last time?
It would be good to see VGS appear in the Gamerankings results.

I don't know why, but I don't think we'll get posted. For example PES 2009 averages a 7,5 on the sites, but I gaved it a 0,1 so you can imagine that it's not good.

Why were you rejected? Lack of any moderation in the forum. Ranting reviews full of bad language and shit loads of typos? You know, little things like that?
I like this type of "fuck you, i'm not gonna be politically correct when talking about this game if it's fucking shitty" but i don't think most people do. I dunno, good luck either way in growing this lovely site.

Well here are the rules to get in
Quote:
The requirements for adding a new site are:
* Sites must have at least 300 archived reviews for a multi-system/multi-genre sites, or 100 reviews for single-system or genre sites.
* Sites must publish a minimum of 15 reviews a month.
* Sites must be visually appealing and looks professional.
* Sites must review a variety of titles.
* Sites must have a dedicated domain name with professional hosting.
* Site reviews must be well written.
* Sites must conduct themselves in a professional manner.
If you are the owner/editor of a publication (website/magazine/newspaper) which reviews games and you would like it to be considered for inclusion in the Game Rankings process, please send us an email via the contact below.
We have over 300 archived reviews. The 15 reviews a month is bullshit as gamespy, gamespot, and ign don't even have 15 reviews a month. The site looks professional enough. We have a variety of titles. Dedicated name and professional hosting check. The last two are a little shaky but my reviews are well written!
Well written is bullshit anyway as the people that work for gamespy and the like are not journalists. The writing is pretty damn shitty sometimes and completely embarrassing for being professional websites.

Suislide pointed out why he thought all the items posed no problem, so a mere "are you kidding me" with nothing to back it up may be proper Suislidian but not very informative or convincing.

You're welcome.
Unfortunately your qualifications for professorship are well below those of the rest of society.

Ehm....are you fucking kidding me?
* Sites must be visually appealing and looks professional. FAILED MISERABLY. This site looks like 1999 vomit.
* Site reviews must be well written. Failed. The reviews are cool and funny but i can't say well written at all.
* Sites must conduct themselves in a professional manner. Really now...the most proffesional thing around here is when nobody says "fag" for at least 5 minutes.

I think that well sums up why this site will not be allowed at Gamerankings this year either.

Why all this negativity? I suppose you all like the reviews here (why else would you bother to keep visiting it), and you will probably agree that a gameranking listing might increase the number of visitors, which could be interesting (more reviews, more forum members). Then why not try to find arguments to counter all this negativity? What other sites have been admitted that do not meet these criteria?

No one's being negative, it's just that we don't really meet the criteria
-This site isn't exactly visually appealing
-I wouldn't call this a professionally hosted site
-The reviews are not well written
-This site definitely does not conduct itself in a professional matter

If there's something we can do to help (like call in and request VGS) I'm willing to do that.
