I'm looking forward to Operation Flashpoint DR, Wolfenstein, and ArmA2, but after ArmA1, I'm worried about the games overall quality.

Just installed GTA IV, put a good crack and the game works but when I click on new game it just shows a stupid movie with music over and over again.

I'll be installing that POS on my next PC....I don't want it anywhere near my current system as I've heard people needed to reformat after installing it.

I've played a lot of RTS games in my life but this is just fucking nuts. The difficulty jumps out of the monitor and punches your mother's grandchildren in the nuts.
It doesn't even have a proper tutorial, just a few lame texts and it sends your ass to war.
The first mission was ok but then the second...HOLY FUCK. Like jumping from the tutorial to the last mission.
It is a very real version of Company of heroes, but it's "too" real. Infantry with limited ammo and tanks with fuel that lasts them for a few laps around the map, fucking fun.
Also, it has no base building and it's a fucking world fucking war 2 game. So it sucks a big one from start but the difficulty must be seen.
Yeah, i bet nobody cares since you all play console games here anyway.

It can't be harder than C&C 1. That was the only game I've seen where you have to rely on a glitch in the game to beat the level!

It's based on a flash game. Tower defence games.
Popcap has a tendancy to remake games. LIke they said in the eurogamer review, they take and idea that already exists and make it the best.
Anyway, i haven't played C&C. I was just talking from my experience. Sounds fucking hard though, i've heard about it.

it was back in the day when games were insanely difficult
One level, u had one commando and four engineers, and you have to use the commando to take out all infantry, blow up an advanced guard tower, then use the engineers to take over the base, and the moment you do, the enemy starts attacking your base.
Another level, your construction yard comes under immediate attack when you land on the beach (we're talking turret attack here), so you have to send your infantry on a suicide mission to distract the turrets, then build your base next to this tree, because a flame tank comes and the tree distracts it, and it keeps burning it instead of u.
C&C now is a joke, u have ample time to build up your base, and you seldom lose a round.

That sounds worse that Men of War.
Well with red alert 3 Uprising expansion they did make it more difficult than the other recent C&C games.
But anyway, you're a fan of C&C games, while i just enjoyed generals and red alert 2. Do you think it's fucking cool to have all those lame videos ON PURPOSE? As in "ohh it's not bad or shitty because that's how we want them to be"?

You mean the video footage clips? They're really gay. They were kick ass and very real in C&C1 and Red Alert 1, but then they just turned queer
