There are some good Tom Clancy games also, for example: Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
I finished the first Splinter Cell and thought it was pretty boring (particularly the linearity annoyed me after having played Thief). I tried a bit of part 2 (Pandora Tomorrow) but it turned out exactly the same, so I uninstalled quickly. I have part 3 (Chaos Theory) and 4 (Double Agent) but never bothered to install them. The reviews said part 3 was pretty much the same and the changes in part 4 did not seem improvements at all to me, based on the reviews.

Install CT because you will like it. Double Agent, although a decent game, was the worst of the 4. CT was the best. We can play online Versus or Coop if you want. I have it original, so I'm not pirating anything with this one.

I kinda wish they had stopped making Tom Clancy games after the very first Rainbow Six game. That was really the only good Clancy game
I really wish they could've given us some more REAL R6 instead of the watered-down Vegas bullshit we've been getting.

GRAW1 and 2 fucken.....both were good solid tactical shooters, and GRAW2's biggest problem was it didn't go as long as the first.
These games are still viable today, as the gfx are decent and the tactical element is in effect.
