It doesn't even say that it will be out on the PC. It does say it will be released on the PS3 and X360, so this is bound to be a great game.

A raw shooter must have good weapons, and being an obvious made for console first and foremost, this runs the risk of suffering from that deficiency, however, FEAR2 has good weapons and isn't clunky, so I guess there's always hope.
If they cock up bullet time, then I'll wait for bargin bin, but if it rates well, I'll buy it on launch.

Yeah, it is made by Rockstar who recently gave us perfectly ported PC games like Bully and GTA4.

I always thought Max Payne as a series needed covar buttan, regeenrating healths (cuz it aint fair to maek teh playar replay a fite if they get shot 2 much) and shitty controls and now apparently my dream is to be a reality!
Rockstar's games, much like Capcom's, usually err towards being good despite their design choices (unless you count GTA4, which sucks despite sucking). Remedy's are good because they're designed extremely well all the way; so basically I'm expected MP3 to be a fucking cuntsaster.
Who the fuck thought MP needed a chronological sequel anyway? The second game pretty much closed up every possible end.

M$ want their games to be released ONLY on 360 (they don't want competition with PC, to them Windows is for office use and 360 for videogaming use) and $ony always wanted their games to be released only on PS.
Consequence= PC is screwed up.

I think this is a boneheaded move on M$ part. It's only driving customers to Mac. After all, the only edge PC has over the Mac is gaming.
If apple can get it's act together and start luring developers over to its side, it might just get a strong foothold in the PC market.

All gaming websites reported that MP3 will be on the PC too, maybe half a year or more later? It is odd that Rockstar does not bother to mention it on the website but since they mention close to nothing there we should not draw conclusions just yet.
And Apple PCs are no competition for Windows PCs. The real competition is Linux (mainly because it is free and is not owned by a Microsoft wannabee company like Apple). If I had not played PC games, I would have moved to Linux more than 10 years ago, and if Microsoft continued to
1. put PC gaming in the back seat of console gaming and
2. make PC games more like console games (Games for windows, windows live shit etc)
then I still might. Gaming is the only reason I need windows; take that away and windows is out. Being put up with it was a small price to pay until now since the alternative (moving to consoles) was far worse. But this balance might just shift.

If it's launched first in 360 and PS3 (=consolistic piece of shit), it doesn't matter if it will be on PC or not because the console FPS gameplay is:
-Clunky movement
-Extremely difficult to manually aim
-Auto aim
-Regenerating life
-Auto sticking to walls like a limpet for cover
-Oversized objects
-One shot in the face is the same as a shot in a toe
-Puzzles difficult reduced to retarded level
-Flashy and brightful warnings to highlight interactive elements
I don't know about you all, but I won't like to play a Max Payne with covering behind shit Gears of War style and regenerating life.

I disagree. Linux is still too difficult to use for most people. If you just want to use what's in the box, it's OK, but if you want to install, for example, a new compiler/text editor/graphics driver, then may god have mercy on your soul.

Dude that perfectly captures how I feel about console FPS games! I hate it when I go on gamespot and make any one of those complaints, and people just say that I don't know how to play the game.
But you also forgot to add annoying context sensitive moments.

If you set up a windows XP box properly (with an administrator account and a normal user account with limited rights for everyday use) you get exactly the same problems under windows. Not sure about Vista though, but who would consider using Vista in the first place?
Linux is different but hardly more difficult (any more).
BTW why do most games still require administrator rights to start a game (or to save)? Even more silly: Battlefield 2242 requires you to be actually logged in as an administrator, so you cannot be logged in as a normal user and use the "run as" menu option to start the game with administrator rights as with all other games.
