I know it is a delicate matter, but I get the question out anyway: Suislide, will you post a game of the year 2008 review at short notice?
Or will it be 'before the year is out' again (which is proper Suislidian for 'when hell freezes over')?

Either that or Fallout 3 or Left 4 Dead (Suislide usually drools over Valve games).

I ordered FO3 nearly 3 weeks ago, and it still hasn't arrived.......but anyone nominating Deadspace needs to include a Xbox controller as part of the games cost.

Dead Space is an "annual award winning" game only to the people who loves Resident Evil, Silent Hill and similar survival horrors with "purposely clunky and annoying controls to make it harder to play", cheap frightening features like sudden shrill sounds and a story designed by mentally challenged 12 yo koreans in a basement that never have seen daylight, but ripping any kind of explanation so it would appear as more interesting for intellectually mediocre people.
2008 has been a shitfest of consolized ported crap and casual player games, there is hardly a single fucking game shouldn't be erased forever and his stuff killed in an extremely horrorifing way. If forced by ruthless torture to choose a single one, I would say Mass Effect because it has a decent story that seem not intented for preadolescents nor retarded 30s dressing a wife beater and empty cans of beer everywhere.

if your looking for intellectual stimulation, what the fuck are you doing playing silly games? endless hours of chess would be the best alternative for you.

There is a slight difference between wanting to play chess and not be offended by a game that constantly throw misteries in your face but then never explain a shit. For that it's way better reading a Theoretical Physics book because you don't get a shit either but if you achieve to understand something is not pure crap.

you gotta be kidding me mate. what fun would it be if every thing was revealed in one shot? deadspace story is thrown as bits and pieces here and there. the story is revealed from the audio/video logs as you play thru the game. if your impatient then you will throw a tantrum.
do you like serious sam?

I've finished the game, read and listen to all logs and still there is a lot of unexplained things. It's better than F.E.A.R. but I can't manage the feeling of been cheated, I leave it to the people who like things like the TV show "Lost".

are you telling me that you want every thing spoon fed and explained to you? so whats the harm in not revealing everything?

Karskin isn't used to anything that doesn't spoonfeed him the story because he can't think for himself, give him a break! I mean, great games like System Shock 2 and Bioshock follow this system, they must have been way to deep for Karskin
