Just played Burnout Revenge, and it is so much better than Paradise City. It's like Criterion games took Revenge, turned it into an open world game, but then removed all the edginess.
The music sucks in Paradise city, as do the event types, the sound effects, the lack of aftertouch/crashbreaker, and the fact that you crash into every fucking thing.

Who else plays console games here anyway?
My kids have a Gamecube and a DS so occasionally I play something on those. I have had Metroid Prime and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (these are supposed to be exceptional, based on their high rankings on gamerankings.com) for about 2 years now but still have not really tried them, cannot explain why (but I finished Paper Mario 2: great game).
