I agree with you....I think a lot of ortrhodox medicine sux, that's not to say everything alternative is correct.
Another clue that "some" scientists are full of it is the amount of dieting books, ie, the different types of diets despite each author being an expert.

This fight between "orthodox" medicine and alternative is confusing. Orthodox says saturated fats are bad, alternative says that major organs of the human body are made of saturated fat, and there are countless examples that I can't remember at the moment.
It's really confusing, and not at all helpful.

I've just turned to not eating meat (I don't like the word vegetarian) and let me tell you it's not bad at all... at least the food is cheaper. I just ate 50g of soy, an egg, and some bread. I feel full as ever, and the cost of that meal was ... 50 USD cents! At least by Romania's prices.
BTW, do you guys know if it is possible to buy soy snitzels by the kilo, I mean not separately in bags of 100g? That would make my meal even cheaper.
