Q....if the authorities and the scientist's of the IPCC are lying to us, can we trust any branch of science?
I don't think we should trust anything labeled "official" right away. I should be very careful about medicine, because it stinks from miles away!
One year ago my eyes were showing signs of failure but I refused to wear the two windows in front of my face so I went to alternatives. To my surprise there were plenty of alternatives, some bad, some good. But the work of some William Bates seems to be the truth. I say this because I have seen it with my own eyes. In the summer without even doing his eye relaxation exercises (he said that vision improves even without doing anything) I got temporarily cured for a minute or 2. Now my vision got a little worse, and I'm stuck with it. All I need is some sunshine and stop spending 12 hours of the day in front of the PC.
So if you fagots are the type of nerds that wear glasses, you should check into his work pronto. He only said that the cure to all vision problems is relaxation of the eyes and mind. You can see it's the truth because the "REAL" doctors say that he was a weirdo who said bullshit. FUCK THEM. All truth is ridiculed by these bastards. I hope this might have helped you fagots.

Not at all, you just omitted a few steps in your line of reasoning. The only way to prove humans have no effect on the climate change here would seem to prove that the same climate changes occur on Mars / Venus etc. This would seem impossible to prove, so this talking about solar flairs (explosions) is mere speculation. You could also argue that some god causes the climate change to test our determination.

All I can say is that usually such loners who cannot convince their peers are charlatans. Tricking someone into believing something (er experiencing something) is very easy if you know how to do it. The example of the magician is therefore not far off the truth. All those who feel they benefit from homeopathic medicine prove this too.
This guy may be the Galileo of our times, but the odds are of course not in his favour. Some scepticism is therefore warranted. So if you feel he is the second coming of Jezus, I am fine with that, but I personally would need solid (scientific) proof first, because that could prevent the dangers I described.

That guy died 100 years ago and from what I read from his book he seemed like a very respectable person. Making conclusions about his life-time work from what little I said (and I am far from being an expert) is called ignorance, sorry to say. If you truly are interested in what that man said read his book, or at least do some basic research. If not, you should have just shut your trap.
By bringing this up I didn't want to get into an argument with anyone, I just want to alert the others here that there are alternatives to glasses, and they should search William Bates's work if they are interested.
P.S.: And let me tell you that there was no illusion in what I saw, I wasn't doing anything that he recommended in that day, or the whole summer actually. You don't need his exercises to gain your vision back. You could just spend time in sunshine and not worry about not seeing stuff or forcing your eyes to see. Oops, I'm getting into an argument again.
