IMO, this site needs to minimize the ghetto talk and make changes to the review style of games so as to separate the reviewers infatuation and the objective qualites the game might have.
Which quip might best apply....?

No man, if they instill any type of censoring I'm outa here.
I don't mind if the censorship in the forums is client side, so I could set up a filter so swear words would come out as "!@%* Gamespot those fat $%@$*&!£ @$$ licking %&* swapping &$@* sucking @$%@*" but I'm sure the original poster would still want to share with the world that he/she believes that everyone should "Fuck Gamespot those fat fucking ass licking cum swapping cock sucking whores"
As for the reviews, I don't think we should try to spoon feed people. In the extreme case your argument would manifest itself as a table with categories down the first column, and scores on the right. This is actually the approach most game sites take: a very structured, organized review.
But this is neither here nor there. I've noticed that you've raised some serious doubt over the reviews here, especially those written by Suislide. Try a more direct approach: write a review using your style and see if the users like it or not.

I think this site needs a new look and that's a certainty. It would be good to minimize the junk as well, like making an optional swear filter (like puk said) to not scare off all the people thinking that this forum is filled with drug addicts. It would be good to stop posting porn like the one with Jordan Capri.
But anyway, this forum is pretty good, too bad it's not very crowded (only 4 or 5 people post regularly ).

If we want more members, changes are required....and IMO, the 2 most obvious one's are the language and the style of review, ie, if Suislide is constantly criticized as being too generous yet refuses to modify his approach, then it's obvious the participation rates will reflect that poor decision.
It's his forum, I'm not going to steal his thunder by out-reviewing him, but I did suggest that he incorporate changes in a bid to reduce subjective bias....something we all suffer from.
Another option we have is to include movie/DVD and TV series reviews for example.
I give this forum the time of day because it's useful and largely censorship free, however, you can't have it both ways Puk ole buddy, ie, you need to identify the problem area's of the forum and rectify them, otherwise you risk speaking with yourself at some point, LOL.

LOL I actually contacted the mod (I think it was Suislide) about a year back telling him that this site needs revision, but he just called me an idiot (9/10 ex g/fs agree with him on that).
So I wholeheartedly support the inclusion of movie reviews. I'd start writing reviews by the gazillions (I can't wait to rip Freedomland a new asshole). I, however, fear that Mihai is a homo and he touches himself at night. The first amendment gives us the right to "freedom, equality, and pornography". Give me some time, I'll find some way to sneak the porn into this site.
The swearing, IMO, is good b/c it acts like a filter. Swearing is an art, and one which kids haven't mastered. So if some pre pube busts in here saying "fuck you you fan boy, gay box sucks..." That's a green light for us that this kid is a ticking time bomb, and we should exploit this, and [hopefully] cause him to commit suicide. That's how you keep the IQ up in these forums. If you dump your g/f and start roaming the gamespot forums religiously you'll learn how to spot insecurities in posters. Those members are like putty in my hands.
This site needs to be updated, it's still got the old ass Netscape theme. However, let me stress that we should not follow in the footsteps of CNET/Fagspot and make the site so graphically intensive that you need a T3 connection to stream the site, and a quad core to render it.

As for pogma's criticizm of Suislide. I think the real strength of this site is that anyone can post reviews. It makes for much better reviews. But I was wondering what would happen if two people gave the same review for a game.

I don't know why you fear that, this forum is full of homos anyway. Seen any girl around here? You see what I mean lol.
Anyway, I'm not against the porn, just that I think this site should be a little more clean to not scare people away. If I want porn, I'll go search it on google or yahoo because there's load of sources lol. I don't think we need porn here.
About the look of the site, I may give you guys a hand because I know some Photoshopping (not much but it will do) so I can create a banner or logo for you and stuff like that. But I don't know if the admins really want to change the site. Their lazy asses don't even log on to the website too often.
