There have been rumours about the delay in its launching was because of the need of shit up the entire game in order to not stand clearly the difference between PS3 and xbox360 versions (m$ money in the middle).
We will have this game in PC sooner than 2460? I guess not, both $ony and m$ wanna punish us hardly in the ass for not buying its stupid teen hardware and they need to pay off the money they have spent in exclusivity with Rock$tar.

Who cares, the game isn't really that good (I own it by proxy - the reason I brought a 360 is to play Ninja Gaiden 2, not GTA4. Ninja Gaiden Black has old-school sensibilities in its' difficulty and game design which reminds me of the NES games so I like them muchly. Hurf.); after releasing seven and a half GTA games I've found that the whole sandbox game appeal dried up around Vice City and was getting more closer to excrutiating than exciting in SA and GTA4. While all the retards who run the major game review sites might be ranting about how awesome it is, it's not really a major reinvention of the series by any means.
Of course, given that the average console jockey of today has all the skills and brains of a dead giraffe, chances are that GTA4 will sell a million copies while I'll be the sole owner of Ninja Gaiden 2. Bliss.
I seem to remember a time when 'playing a game' involved having to enter the konami code just to survive long enough to pause the game. What the fuck is it with console games being... dumbed down for console?

I haven't played it yet but I supposed long ago it would be the same as San Andreas with improved graphics.
The reason is evident to game publishers... Why they have to invent anything new if they have a so successful proven formula?

It's kind of like san andreas but missing everything that made san andreas acceptable as a game and vice city good as one.
Player and vehicle customisation is nearly nonexistant, the missions are pretty much nothing but fetch quests, the radio stations are awful, the graphics look nothing like they do in the screenshots (what the fuck is up with the hideous dithered shadows? They look like they belong in diablo 1 or some shit), and the controls are simply abysmal - your character turns and moves with all the grace of an eighteen wheeler mated with a hippopotamous with gout, and the gun controls are STILL using PS2-era technology.
While I'm not a major fan of either series, Rockstar really should of taken some of the stuff out of Saint's Row for GTA4; particularly the better free aim and character customisation options. Hell, all the controls in general should of been copied - Saint's Row is practically Ninja Gaiden Black when it comes to controls compared to GTA4.
I'm still on the fence about the actual car handling since I can't make my mind up - however, the physics on the cars is pretty shitty and its' not uncommon for me to flip over sideways at least five times for hitting a curb at low speeds.
Personally I find the way that there's no multiple cities setup to be one of the biggest detractors, as well. SA had three very distinct cities, each with its' own large hinterland areas - I would prefer this over having a single huge city with a forgettable design.

I remember when San Andreas was out there was contriversey on a hidden sex scene, and G4 was like "duh, 15 year olds might to see this to masturbate if their parents let them play these games." At first I thought "15 year olds aren't that stupid." Then the next day I went to school and everyone at school was like "duh, did you hear on G4 about the sex scene in San Andreas? I, duh, want to get that game to masturdbate becoz it's like internet porn! hu hu hu!" I couldn't beleive it, all my class mates were as dumbass as G4 said they were.
I never watch G4 anymore, the stupidity of G4 just built up inside of me and I just can't stand watching geeks talk about graphics and EA all day long, anymore.

97% of people are fucking retarded, at any age. If you haven't realised it yet soon you will. It's the basis of organized societies since first days of Homo Sapiens.

I refer you to the above post by kasrkin.
I fully agree with the first guy who said that sandbox games started out being fun, GTAIII, then they got to the point where they were excrutiatingly bad, Far Cry 2 (lick my balls Ubisoft).

Fuck him.....I'd kill him with my bare hands if I was tough enough.
Gamespot seem to be okay when it comes to the blockbuster games, ie, Far Cry, Fear, HL2 etc, but probably aren't harsh enough when games are mediocre.....but that said, if Fear scores 9.1 and I like it, then that bodes well for anything that gets a 10.

Gamespot is just like Gametrailers in that they are inconsistent, so they'll notice a problem with one game, for example poor controls, and they rape the game over it, then for another game that has equally piss poor controls, they'll give it a free pass.
I understand different reviewers are bound to give different scores, but at least put in a system whereby the more a reviewers score deviates from user scores, the less he gets paid (I'm talking about you Keighly you sexually ambiguous hemaphrodite)

I just bought a new PC and have bought quite a few games off ebay for peanuts.....I do this because I know/anticipate that games still aren't where they need to be, but as I said elsewhere, we need more PC exlcusives and less focus on console shit.
I can't help it if people are silly enough to believe that something that Gamespot rates as 9/10 justifies a super computer with a price to match.
Hopefully at some point in the not too distant future, graphics will have matured to such a point that the only way to distinguish games are via their story/gameplay.

It will probably never happen because almost everything in our society is motivated by profit.
Console game sales are a cash cow.

I just sold my PS3 and I feel as if a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Food tastes better. The air seems fresher. It's like I was in an abusive relationship, and I said enough is enough and finally left that bastard of a wife.
