They made fun of Metal Slug being 2d, saying dumb shit like "The textures in this game look pixelated, bla bla bla, not taking advantage of PS2 hardware, bla bla bla, SNK should have better programmers, bla bla bla, there isn't enough tectures and details in these puddles on the ground." I have 3 thing to say: 1) who cares about the fucking pudding? 2) Metal Slug is a good game because it is FUN! 3) G4 doesn't even know what pretty graphics are anyway. Metal Slug's graphics are pretty in it's own way. Of course you can see the individual colors and pixels but that is what makes the 2D art style look good. Another thing, how can you not notice the amazing explosions and action and the animation. All of which are 10000000000000000000 times more important than counting textures in a stupid puddle!

This is not the only time G4 says dumb shit about how detailed the ground is. They do it in every single review. I just chose Metal Slug because it's the only "good" game to have a recent console release (I forgot which Metal Slug game they were reviewing) that I've seen a review of that I could think of right now.

It's no secret vg reviews in pages such G4 or Gamespot are fucking crap. They all are either paid by its publishers or made by dumbasses who have just started videogames 2 years ago and actually don't play them more than a few minutes according to the mistakes usually displayed in the reviews.

When someone who fucking doesn't know that mouse wheel is used to zoom in a RTS like Dawn of War is making the reviews, you want to bomb his fucking servers and kill all his staff.
