You mean *this* year? The first half of the year is almost done.
Publishing GOTY-lists *before* the year is out (as many sites do) is silly (you never known what games will come out in the remainder of the year and you have not been able to distance yourself from recent games), but aren't you pushing it too far to this other side now?

L4D is a coop zombie shooter based on the Source engine and released by Valve. It is supposed to be quite good, provided you do not expect long playtime and deep and involving story line of course. Based on the reviews it sounds like a slightly more serious version of Serious Sam with mandatory 4 player coop.
I am not into multiplayer so I will not buy this one though.
Suislide is probably still working on the 2007 GOTY review (only 1 day left, pressure must be unbearable by now), so he may not have the time to review L4D or GTA4, maybe someone else can?

left 4 dead is super fun. It's pretty inovative. It's like worms: really fun to play with your friends, and you get tons of hours out of it, but at the end of the day, it's a very simple game.

I don't think he's being paid, he just gets over-excited when a good game comes out.....for me, if I rate something as high or higher than 9.5, it means I want to take time off work to play it, but how mnay games are that compelling these days...?
