It's a game by blizzard, that makes it a piece of shit cartoony kiddy game by default.

I do not think this is the type of game Pogma likes. And it doesn't have top of the line graphics, another minus in Pogma's book. I don't think that he buys such new games at all generally.

I have never played a blizzard game before because they seem to only make MMORPG's and I have never even played an MMORPG
I'm still recovering from when I read that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was cancelled and they decided to make a free to play gay ass MMORPG of the Zone instead. MMORPG ruined games.

What has blizzard ever done other than these few games?
Warcraft franchise - cartoony kiddy game that was cool at the time, but a billion expansions and fantasy novel series later it's just a tired old whore that can't quit the job because her black pimp thaddeus is forcing her to do it. And now gabe took her, put her in a new vinyl skirt and some makeup and changed her name to dota 2.
Starcraft - boring cartoony kiddy game with rednecks as characters. if you like this game you might as well marry your cousin and go live in the south to hunt gays with a pitchfork.
hence diablo - another cartoony kiddy game that they're trying to smash onto the warcraft bandwagon. by the way this shit requires you to log in in order to play single player - that's a -9 points by default, even if the game didn't suck shit through a looped straw it would still get a 1 max.

The nuts and bolts of the game is what's important, personally I'd never buy it as I prefer Oblivion/FO3/Skyrim type of RPG.
If you consider racing sims vs arcade racers, it'd be a brave man who'd rate either game off SS or vids without testing physics, FFB and steering quality.

If you don't mind reading text and have a good computer (a seriously good computer) you should download the Morrowind Graphics and Sounds Overhaul. It makes it look really good.

Morrowind is the best Elder Scrolls game ever. It has the best and the most of everything. Gameplay, sound, equipment, skills, spells, diverse enviroment... graphics are the only thing it lacks compared to the latter ES games, although the anatomy of the characters are still better in Morrowind especially of the beast races (and at least the people's faces don't look like they've been overinjected with botox).
But pogma won't ever play Morrowind since the graphics are not as good as the newest ES. If he only played with it back when it came out... oh well. it's his loss if he prefers Skyrim as it's just a boring ass TUNDRA HIKING SIM compared to Morrowind.

The MGSO (Morrowind Graphics and Sounds Overhaul) is four times larger in file size than the actual game, and makes the graphics competitive with modern games. The graphics are no longer an issue, only reading large amounts of text instead of voice acting.
If you have a good computer (you simply cannot run MGSO without a good computer) you need to see it. Look it up on Youtube there's plenty of videos. It's amazing. In some areas, it looks almost as good as Crysis.
Morrowind has a lot more options in terms of spells and details that make it superior to dumbed-down versions. Skyrim was too dumbed-down and simplified, and I was pretty angry that the Dark Brotherhood and Mages Guild quests were so childish and stupid.
But I can see why new players will like Skyrim a lot and it IS a great game. I fell in love with Fallout 3 and had never heard of it before that. But I did go back and am playing Fallout 1 and 2 right now. I'm interested in Wasteland 2 because gameplay is supposed to be similar to Fallout 1 and 2.
Wonder where next Elder Scrolls and Fallout 4 will be set...Sumerset Isles and...somewhere..

fuck pogma, poggy's as mad as hell.
poggy's angry he has to explain the same thing over and over to a handful of cunts who won't embrace the new world order of gaming.....to me, Skyrim was an awesome move in the right direction, but no-one's denying it has some obvious faults, but that didn't stop me clocking up 400hrs hahaahahahaha.
Skyrim with BethHD text pack looks pretty good, and in an area where the weather system kicks in, it's the best looking game I've ever seen on my PC, it also has impressive combat mechanisms....FFS, Oblivion is bad, how bad will MW be.
And despite some repetition, Skyrim has the best voice acting I've ever heard, and a handful of the voice actors are downright impressive, so no, fuck reading a bunch of text, that might be low res.
Another thing that annoys pogma is the state of HW atm, I feel like other than system ram, everything is too expensive or too slow.
