I was surprised by how cock sucking the ME2 review in here was. Game was dumbed down like hell and it's 10/10. That fucking game was just BioWare wanting not only to use the same engine, but sucking the shit out of Gears of Wars (aka the generic cover shooter for retards) out of its asshole.

Mass Effect 2 was CHEESY. Literally, the story was so CORNY and CHEESY it almost looks like a children's story. Why is Shepard, who is supposed to be like Commander in the military, babysitting a bunch of companions who are SUPPOSED to be badasses but instead turn out to be a bunch of whiny pussies who want you to go on stupid whiny crybaby quests with them??? So stupid. Yea the Krogan is a big baby also. He actually says "I'm still trying to see where I fit" THIS ISN"T A SOUL SEARCHING WALK AROUND TOWN.
Also Mass Effect 2 was definitely not an RPG. It was just as much on rails as Call of Duty. Any kind of side missions all involve running through rails/corridors and shooting unil you reach from Point A to Point B. You would think every once in a while they would have SOMETHING DIFFERENT FOR YOU TO DO OTHER THAN RUN FROM A TO B SHOOTING UNTIL YOU REACH THE CUTSCENE AND ONE-CLICK DECISIONS.

ME2 was a blunder on my part. The 2nd time I played the game I was like oh my god, where is the story?
ME3 is pure shit and makes terrible writing mistakes. I will have a review up soon after I beat it.

We can all get drawn in by the hype.....I bought ME2, tried to play it twice and just couldn't get past a few hrs each time, now I realize that it's just lacking in many area's and isn't even a RPG.
I also don't like the start of FO3, and thankfully FV got thru that part much quicker, so you could get out there and immediately know what the game is to some degree, but I found ME2 so dull, that I think I only ever made it 2-3hrs in.
FEAR 2005 was a great example of a corridor shooter, whereas ME2/3 are terrible shooters....I feel like their shooting would be acceptable back in 2002/3, but both FO3 and especially NV got the shooting right, so that if the story dragged a bit, I could rely on the action, but if a game lacks decent action, story and presumably has an unsatisfying ending, is it even a fucking game....?

The day one DLC appears to be on the DVD (EA claimed it was developed later) and can be easily unlocked according to this video.

If I understand it correcty, only an additional character was on the DVD already, not the other content of the DLC? That doesn't seem to be too big a deal.

I heard that the ending is such an atrocity that it's like EA is literally pointing it's finger at you while laughing hysterically saying "How do you like that sssucker!!! HAHAHAAA! Now go and buy the DLC too!".
Speaking of DLC-s, they say you are almost forced to buy them since with ME3 it's not just some extra content, but this time they took out a vital part of the game only to charge more money for it.
So... I look forward to the review.

Ok so many people are now saying that the Day 1 DLC is actually on the game discs/files and can easily be unlocked via special commands. There are YouTube videos of this.
This is seriously insane that they do this kind of crap.
And I have read some SLIGHT spoilers in the reviews, and I can tell you I ALREADY FEEL DEPRESSED. FUCK BIOWARE FOREVER. AND EA.

Just watched the ME3 review by Good Game....they gave it 10/10 and gave me the impression it's the best ME.....whether that's enough to make it decent is still in question, but what's not in question is my contempt for EA/Origin, so the most I'll pay is $10.

Yea I don't understand why Origin exists. People hated Steam a LOT when it came out and Counter-Strike players were forced to access their game through it, but now it actually seems convenient for buying games. We don't need another one.
I am worried that they just decided to go with the standed "depressing" ending like in Red Dead Redemption where they just automatically assume the best story is one where everyone dies at the end. They equate making people feel bad with creating controversy and good story. That is what a lot of reviews are complaining about anyway.
I am not planning on touching the game until it costs $10 or $20 anyway.
