From a short Ars Technica article about this game:

Quote:
This is a Games for Windows Live release, so after downloading the game from Steam and entering the CD Key to unlock the game, I had to also log into my Xbox Live account and re-enter the same key for some reason. This process often boots my wife off the upstairs television if she happens to be watching a Netflix movie on the Xbox 360. I'm going to say it again: Games for Windows Live is a hostile system for consumers, and it's a constant annoyance in our house.

That being said, the PC version of the game does nearly everything else correctly.

So t his may be one for Pogma.

What "thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" fuck, I hate GFWL as much as anyone.
I don't mind steam, as steam has yet to fuck me over, it also patches my games and offers me good prices from time to time, ie, they are of "value", but what's the value of GFWL...?

OK, I thought it might be for you because it seems to a pretty good port, I wouldn't dare to imply that you might like GFWL.

atm DX11 isn't working, so I think waiting for a patch makes sense.

They obviously didn't delay the PC version for optimization. I mean, why in the world would they do something like that?

Probably a marketing ploy....but DX9 supposedly looks pretty good.

The consolitis section of the Firingsquad review bodes badly, but the overall outcome is still good (86 / 100 that is).
