what do think should be the realistic price for a pc game?
Do you feel that paying $50-60 is unrealistically high? If yes what is the deserved price for a good game that you like?

It depends on the length and quality of the game....I'd be prepared to pay $150+ for proper blockbusters, otherwise I prefer not to pay more than $30AUD.

currently: $30US and thats just for the limited edition.These days we pay more for less(gameplay and content/packaging wise) publishers then act surprised when 'AAA POS GAME' is pirated(price plays a factor in piracy).

ME2 and FOVegas cost me $150, yet both suck, I don't care how many awards ME2 got either, so I'd rather they made use of the PC's capabilities and charge more.
FOVegas would've been sooooo much better with just FO3's GFX, imagine if they actually made it work a 6870-6970 hard.

DID YOU KNOW:EA is one of the only publishers that (Im aware of anyway) prices their games;regardless of their (shitty)quality, at decent prices:R469 for CRYSIS PS3.Activititision OTOH,continue to retail COD4 at R700-600 mark.

re-Crysis....just doesn't appeal to me as IMO it's a COD MP clone with a console limited SP campaign.
I don't do any MP other than sim racing, and I won't waste 5 mins on these bastardized new age POS.
re laptop....does it have SSD?
Mt laptop is now 16months old, but is just a back up to my desktop and also a media player at times, but my next laptop will have a SSD and all that jazz.
I'm due for a desktop soon, but the truth is, this might be the first time I've bought a PC without there being a number of demanding and desirable games to justify it, but I just want a faster PC overall, with SSD for good measure.
I'm looking forward to my next desktop from a tech POV, but from a games POV, bahhhhh!!!

nah man, regular 500gb@7200. This is just to avoid the inconvenience at moments when you need one like for presentations, meetings or to show stuff to your coworker(not porn btw) and perhaps when you are traveling.
