IL2 since who knows when as its old like hell DX8 and OpenGL
Trees, bushes, walls and fences destruction in MP
OFP 2001 , partly some, with mods more
JO 2004 , partly some, mods
ArmA 2006, all these objects defined with this property
about destructable buildings, that one i can fully understood it stress CPU / GPU to extreme
especially non static (dynamic/semidynamic destructions)
but even Soldner 2004/2005 was able do it 'nicely' in MP
i seriously hope Crytek gunna reconsider this and offer detailed options for servers
where via variables we set CPU utiliziation of server processing power and bw etc

FallingTrees=True/False
OverRunBushes=True/False
DestructableFences&Walls=True/False
DestructableBuildings=True/False
and so on ...
but i guess such simple solutions are sometimes way too complicated for big studios

I have not been able to log in to a single server. There are 6 different versions of the game: DX9 v DX10 for the three different patches (12 if there is a difference for 32 v 64). Even when I get the versions right, it still won't let me join.

I think Crytek shot themselves in the foot. You have this amazing environment and they don't let you use it. They castrated the physics in MP. Trees take 3 times more damage before falling down, objects can no longer be picked up and thrown, and the enemy AI doesn't work. I don't fucking get it, in the Sandbox editor I can plunk down a Korean and he will attack me right away, but that same map in MP the Korean just stands there.
