ok, fallout new vegas got me interested too. but remember the trailer of zeta? awesome that was. but in new vegas gameplay footage doesn't remind me of vegas at all. all i see is blank ordinary city thrown up with some neon lights here and there.. of course we can allways hope for the best.

I agree that some of the footage doesn't look as good as FO3 for whatever reason, but I'd be surprised if the finished product doesn't look as good, but who knows these days, either way, some people claim FO3 looks ordinary, but maxed on my 26in LCD, it looked pretty damn good and very atmospheric at times.
Also, remember that they plan to improve the weapons this time, so real time gunplay should be better, but I always like using VATS, at least u can play either style.
I only have FO3 on DVD, so I'm going to buy Vegas on DVD as well, and if it sucks, I'll grab FO3 GOTY edition and put in 80hrs.

funny, just bought fallout 3 GOTY today. it' still sealed and containing 5 downloadable content excluding new vegas of course. sadly my machine finally messed up this week so i'm not gonna try it just yet, but i had to buy it. i searched it everywhere before, then gave up on it. but today i visited the nearest store out of no real reason (can't even remember last time i was there) and saw a lone copy.

Jesus, is fallout 3 really worth it? Pogma is your system still able to play recent games,on high settings?

Yes, but get the GOTY edition with all 5 DLC packs for another 30-40hrs more gaming...FO3 is one of my top PC games.
My system can still handle new games as they're no more demanding than the games of 2008, for example, I run Metro 2033 at 1080p and it looks extremely good{but a dull game}.

It's basically the same price as the original and has presumably replaced the original altogether...anyway, as I said, if Vegas doesn't razzle dazzle me, then GOTY here I come{26in LCD maxed with 37in 1080p option}

Depends on the criteria, Metro looks very good in DX10 at 1080p med-high, so it's still got DX11 and more specs up it's sleeve, plus it's special FX are good.
RAGE being an open world DX9 maxed title should look good, in fact, this time round, it'll probably be Crysis that comes 2nd for GFX, but might be more fun to play.
