It's fair to say that 95% of gamers today probably don't remember Duke Nukem.

You're right. It's unfortunate, but that's how it is. Duke and this game are a relic of the 90's. Most of the former Duke fans that I know of have moved on, which leads me to believe that this game just won't sell well (unless of course this game manages to pique the interest of this new generation of "gamers"). I still consider myself a Duke fan and I'll certainly buy this game if it's ever released, but I'm not going to wait on it.

I remember when Duke Nukem came out it was so kick ass. If they release a new one I will buy it. It'll be like a blast from the past =D

Didn't Duke Nukem come out a few years after Doom II?

I don't understand these idiots, it's like for some reason they've decided they must have most technologically advanced game, yet Duke is 50% fun factor not requiring excess GFX/physics....

I think it bleeds over to other areas too, like environments. They seem to spend so much time on making the graphics better, they don't spend as much time making better levels. Compare the tiny ass tanker in Modern Warfare 1, with that huge ass tanker in Deus Ex.
