I'm curious, did your absence have anything to do with the overwhelming evidence in support of Israel being a "Lunatic State"?

(last I checked, the blockade is illegal).
please check again then, because is not illegal.

Just checked it's still illegal

A blockade is, according to the San Remo Manual on International Law Applicable to Armed Conflicts at Sea, a legal method of warfare at sea. Therefore, Israel's actions, can be taken to be legal at face value.

However, ever since 1945, the UN determines the legal status of blockades. UN resolution 242, adopted in 1967 after the Six Day War, recognizes Israel as the occupier of the the Gaza strip. And, according to the fourth Geneva convention, which is meant to prevent civilian casualties, an occupying power can not blockade an occupied state. In 1979 the Security Council held that the Fourth Geneva convention still applies to the areas captured by Israel in 1967, including Gaza.

Don't take my word for it, lets do some google searches and see what we come up with

GTK:
you have to issue the command
"git clone git://git.gnome.org/gtk+" but I don't have "git", so lets try to install that

Git, and from here go to RPM and lets choose i386 and that's when I gave up

I don't mind installing from source, but I get very frustrated when I spend several hours and in the end get nowhere.
very nice story.
A smart person in fedora would do
"yum install gtk"

And if you don't have fedora?

Why do I get the feeling you are just going to make a typical I-know-you-are-but-what-am-I Captn response.

ha ha ha, cause deep down inside you know the captn is always right.

here is something the Captn might perhaps quote ( just guessing)
Did Israel breach international law?

This is disputed. A Turkish draft resolution circulated at the UN Security Council described the attack as a violation of international law. Turkish foreign minister Ahmet Davutoglu called the raid "tantamount to banditry and piracy" and "murder conducted by a state".

Israel's foreign ministry says that under international maritime law, when a maritime blockade is in effect, no boats can enter the blockaded area. It adds: "Any vessel that violates or attempts to violate a maritime blockade may be captured or even attacked under international law."

enlighten yourself
