The Zoroastrians are NOT promoting brain washing children in military training camps, teaching them how to blow themselves up and cause maximum deaths of Pagans and other non Zoroastrians!
The Zoroastrians don't hijack chariots, nor kill athletes at the Ancient Olympics, or blow themselves up in Germanic restaurants. There is NOT one single Zoroastrian that has destroyed a temple. There is NOT a single Zoroastrian that protests by killing people.
The Zoroastrians don't traffic slaves, nor have leaders calling for war and death to all the nonbelievers.
Perhaps the world's Pagans should consider investing more in standard education and less in blaming the Zoroastrians for all their problems.
Pagans must ask 'what can they do for humankind' before they demand that humankind respects them!!
Regardless of your feelings about the crisis between Persia and the Romans and Italian neighbors, even if you believe there is more culpability on Persia's part, the following two sentences really say it all:
'If the Italians put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence.
If the Persians put down their weapons today, there would be no more Persia '.
To this list you may add the name of Ibn Sina the inventor of the refrigerator, a Persian Zoroastrian who revolutionized the way we eat food, chill vodka, keep bodies cold until we can through them in rivers, landfills and incinerators, and a host of other applications including food in space and sperm freezing.

I find it absolutely astounding how facts and reason seem to bounce off you.

He broke out of character in the Islam v Judaism fiasco as well, admitting having lived in India (Captain mentioned this once). Not exactly a smoking gun, but evidence nonetheless.

Could you condense this to a sound bite please? Otherwise with my 1 digit IQ I cannot process / comprehend this much information. I visit this site because this is the only site on which I meet peers (i.e. other retards), please do not spoil it for me, you seem out of place now, have you stopped drinking maybe?

I had to google this name, but he seems like someone you should feel connected to (anti-religious, controversial, contrarian, etc)?

If you read any of his books u will realize that he is incredibly anecdotal. That's why I called the Captain Christopher Hitchens.

which is ironic, because you seem to have surpassed the captn by a large margin in that case

I don't understand how you think I am anecdotal. If you think that what I am saying is unreliable, you're welcome to provide evidence to the contrary. But if you start making theories about cold weather jump starting evolution, that's not evidence to the contrary. That's just plain conjecture.

You are not used to this any more I guess. Formerly, particularly in his captn days, he did this all the time. If you told him he did something wrong, he would invariably reply with "you did it wrong yourself", it was really childish. We discussed it before here.
I thought he had given up on this, but guess not.

His personality reminds me of Michael Scott trying to defend an unwinnable situation

in fact i did twice , but you failed to see logic in that either. eg Your stmt "everyone does drugs..." should be a pleasant reminder. if i scavenge the forum i am sure to find more, but ill leave that to the scavengers.

for some ideas, it may not be possible to provide evidence in the form of statistical data. Eg Scientists often build theoretical models and improve on them. btw if you read astrophysics books, most of the leading theories on the universe are theoretical and hence they are called 'theoretical physics". Eg boltzmann fluctuation, steady state theory, string theory, multiverses. There is no direct proof, but then you build a theory, by rejecting some facts and adding some indirectly. So its pretty healthy to have mind experiments and i encourage that process using logical thinking. Its a better approach to life than fodder feeding.
And what i said of climate having a say on human genetics is obviously not proof. Think about how we ignore sun storms and cosmic radiation, because we dont see them, but they DO interfere causing mutations and interference on equipment. That is only possible with very sensitive spectral equipment. As a human you could not feel it. So its there and its subtle and a human life time is sometimes too short to connect the dots.
the problem with you is, you like to hurry off, search links and paste the results without analyzing the context in which data is present. So although you have data and its not theoretical, you still need to use your reasoning to interpret the data. and that's where you seem to have a problem. data means nothing unless you interpret it in the right context.
