I was hoping there would be more comments on my review, but here goes.
The game SUCKS. The only reason I gave it a 5 and not a 0 is because I didn't want to sound bias
I just spent 10 minutes behind an ammo crate to replenish my grenades, and I had a kill ratio of roughly 1 dead for every 10 grenades. As if that wasn't gay enough, the claymores don't always kill the enemy. And the fuckin dogs are a pain in the ass. This game blows.
The sad thing is that all reviews, with the exception of one, claim that the special ops are fantastic.
There isn't even a peep out there criticizing this game. Is it me? Am I just that bad at playing this game?

Maybe you're thinking of the Sand Simulator known as Far Cry 2

What's the full name of the game?
I put 18hrs into FC2, and it's a shame they couldn't match or even exceed the gameplay of the first one, but aspects of the GFX and the environments were pretty damn good.

Oh sorry, It's the cooperative 'campaign' of Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2, called Special Ops or Spec Ops.
Far Cry 2 was boring as hell, but like you said, visually appealling.

at $59 its way way overpriced, and if you noticed even Modern Warfare prices haven't reduced. i dont get the business strategy here. just shows how stupid people ppl back at home are, spending $50 for a game.

$1billion and rising.
Personally, I don't miss the old days at all.....when I go back and play older games pre2003 I ask myself how I could've ever liked any of them.
ME2 will be out this week....and as long as there's no show stopping probs reported, I'll get that and hope to really enjoy it.

It cost a billion to make, or made a billion profit?
Avatar didn't even cost a billion, and It has *only* made 1.8 billion

Where are you getting these stats from? They sound outrageous. $200m in advertising? Honestly? That's like if Avatar spent $1.2 billion in advertising.
Can a video game cost $50 million to make? at $50 a game you MUST sell 1 million copies to make a profit (not counting promotions)

These figures were all over the net a few weeks ago, I remember them too. Google should do the trick.

so what if it is 2billion? it still doesn't justify the $60 price tag. wtf? I tell you its all greed. They know idiots will spend $50-$60 for a game and so they play a strategy here because they know they will milk it out from you. Take the first one, its still priced at $49. are you saying they havent made any profit yet? bullshit!
Those of you who have played it do you think its a fair price ? Did you have a better gameplay experience with other games that where priced significantly lesser?

I got the ORANGE BOX(xbox360) for only R200 (roughly $30).Games are really expensive here,i mean R3,600 for guitar hero world tour set?thats overkill you could get a ps3 with that money.Console games generally cost R700($90) whilst PC cost R3-400($60).I Hate gaming in SA.

Maybe you're misinterpreting this?It probably means that the game generated 1 billion in turnover, clearly not all this ends up in Activision's pockets.
