oh my god what hype, one word DISAPPOINTING. borderlands = left for dead in a new package. its so overblown like like, how shall i put it? like miha's mamas Roma-Belly.

man what a stupid fucking game....i am still recovering from the shock....yeah i played it for 8 hours thinking something will happen. but it was all in vain....all you do in Gameplay is shoot, shoot and shoot-shoot. shoot here shoot there and shoot a little again until some1 else shoots you. and you die, respawn only to shoot all over again. thats the game. rpg building is weak and is disconnected from the story. each task you are sent to involves some shooting. like i said its left for dead repackaged. there are tons of weapons, but you always run out of ammo. then you die eventually and respawn. and every time you respawn $ are deducted. Why? I could understand if the story was about some virtual reality world where you have to pay to get back. But its not.
When you kill a scag it leaves ammo/weapon or $ behind, in addition to the experience points which slowly up your skills. ie skills to shoot. you can use $ to buy stuff from the stores. Wow, brilliant rpg character building, IDIOTS. its so monotonous, you have to keep firing lotsa rounds. senseless, no finesse. if you liked l4dead then this is your game cause your a dumb retarded idiot who should be made to clean toilets in the pen. your human existence is a blight on this planet. are you on jupiter? didnt think so.
Even after you kill scags, they respawn after a while which is FUCKING STUPID. Look idiots i killed those scags or bags whatever you call them. So why the fuck they gotta keep spawing again and again? makes no sense at all, senseless bastards. Scags should be sent to hell in a bodybag. Respawning again and again, like i have nothing better to do with my time. Hello! The last i checked its not deathmatch, on the cover it says something like RGP+FPS. i think they probably played too much ut.

Graphics are ok, noting great, but decent. however AA is disabled, you need to use nHancer to override it. The only thing notable was the changing day-night system. The environments are big, but gets boring after a while because all you do is shoot scags in a wasteland. The cellshading could have been improved by decreasing the mesh width. To me the brush strokes seem a little thick.
Music seemed to be okay for the duration i tolerated the game. Too bad the gameplay was pathetic.

yeah thats it....now i am depressed. i think i will head out to the gym, brighten my spirits with a nice set of bench. but first i must uninstall borderlands, its got no place on my computer.

based on recent gameplay i have decided to reopen the borderlands review........stay tuned gentleman! a meek soul would have just let the matter slip away. but no! that aint the way of master.

......well what turned out to be shitty gameplay experience has miraculously made a 360 turn, well perhaps 245 degree turn. and i am liking this game now.
it was all because of the adaptive difficulty level of the game which you cannot change. it turned out i was matched up against level 17 badasses vs me at level 10 @ sledges warehouse wtf? this was what made me mad.
so you need to check what is the level of difficulity set by pressing the tab key. thanks to the confusing layout, its not self explanatory immediately. it seems you need to goto the bulletin board and first take tasks up with trivial/normal difficulty settings. once you do those, the ai automatically lowers your difficulty from hard/insane to normal of your main quest. this is the key.
great game! tons to play i am at level 27 now.

ok the ending is really one of the worst endings in gaming history. thanks for fucking up the game. a games story is very important to me.

wtf, could have atleast shown me a glimpse of the vault, with all the mountains of gold like uncle scrooge instead you get nothing! i feel so cheated. looks like the gears brokedown at gearbox.

I have every game I want from 2009, the only exception is Arma2, but I'll wait for a few more patches and maybe a new beefy PC hehehehe

Yes, do get FO3, but try and buy the GOTY edition which has the 5 DLC packs= another 30hrs gameplay.
Also know that FO3 gets better as you level up, especially the accuracy of your weapons.
