| Rise Of Nations | | Posted on Friday, August 15 @ 15:44:45 EDT by M0nKeY |  Well well, another RTS from our buddies at Micro$oft. I thought age of mythology was great so I gave this one a shot.
Bad move.
The first problem with this game is the fact that it crashed my PC every 40 mins. There are NO other games that have completely locked up this machine. I think the recent worm epidemic just proves the point that all software with the M$ name on it is buggy as hell.
This game allows you to play with civilizations that start with primitive technology but as the game advances you are allowed to work your way up to weapons from the modern era. The problem with the game play is that you can put all your recourses towards your military build up and successfully invade the computers capitol too soon in the game sessions. I had to play most of the game with the difficulty set to the hardest setting in order to keep its shittyness to a minimum.
In the conquer the world mode you have to try to... UM DUR... conquer the world on a RISK-like game board with RTS action sequences in between.
Because this piece of dung locked my high end computer up all the time i give it a 3/10
