| Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence | | Posted on Sunday, July 26 @ 16:19:35 EDT by Suislide | yberpl0x0rz writes "You don't get games like this often. :D
Sooo lets get started :D
Graphics: Well. This game's graphics ARE FUCKING GOOD. IT MAKES YOU WANT TO HAVE A HUGE ORGASM. Seriously, i haven't seen graphics like this for the PS2 since..... Uhh..... I have actually NEVER seen SO good graphics on a PS2 game before. I mean, just look at this! http://www.dignews.com/legacy/screenshots/mgs_3_sub_22.jpg (Lol sorry im not too experienced in HTML)
Sound: The songs on the soundtrack are composed _SO_ fucking good that you would want to run around infront of enemies, just so you could hear that good alert music again. Also, Snake Eater is awesome. :P
Gameplay: Here comes the best part. Metal Gear's gameplay differs from other games based on wars. Normally it's some random guy going out to Pakistan to shoot down everyone on sight. Well, here you want to stay clear of enemies, and sneak past them. ROAR that is so cool. This is probably the best video game for the PS2 besides RE4 (which is the awesomest game EVAR!!!). Hideo Kojima's original MG1 and MG2 were awesome at their times, and MGS made the series perfect. Metal Gear has been one of the originators of the Stealth gaming genre.
This gets a 11/10 from me! :P:P:P:P:P
(Shitty smiley overload!:D:P:S:O)"

-What? MGS1 took place in Alaska, and he was supposed to sneak into the base
-MGS2 took place in New York and you had to infiltrate a tanker and a plant.
do you mean the old ass Metal Gears? |

The genre doesn't work in the jungle though, Metal gear needs constricted hallways, like in the previous two.
Try playing MGS4. If you've never crawled across an entire battle field, it is the slowest experience of your life.
The story was good though, and the boss fights with The End, and Volgin are superb |

In fact itīs so weak that i canīt believe on itīs inconsistency.
I havenīt played that game, but after reading this i will surely not be buying it.
In the screenshot you just posted as "awesomeness", theres some real ugly-ass-lowpoly-mismapped rocks (wich looks like some serious boxes and are totally unecessary)
Mgs1 didnīt had crap like that laying all around.
Those "beautyfull graphics" you say are provably just the new gen effects, like blur, bloom and that stuff you find in any recent game..
Dont get me wrong, the game might be fun, i donīt know, i just know what i see and i can see that the graphics arenīt that good. |
