I think he meant actual child predators the Pig Pope Palpatine shielded, not just "pedophiles", which is a term used to refer to people attracted to children. Many people know that there is difference between a pedophile and a child-rapist just as there is a difference between a heterosexual and a heterosexual rapist. No need to be offended.
