some of the most successful and interaction driven games in recent years have been mmorpgs. or as you would call in this case: "multiplayer only game". these games are just not ment to be played single player, that doesn't make them worse.
and i take it you're speaking of Starcraft:ghost when you say "shooter for console"? its a 3rd person tactical-shooter, and guess what? most good console games are!
