since vgs is rising to status in the internet community, i thought it would be a good idea to share our photo albums. thats right let us show the world what a capable bunch we really are.
I dont like to show off, but as a true sportsman, i will start off the trend by posting my pic. This was painted by a well known prominent artist. Here grab it while it still exists, you know these days how fast things run out of stock, due to the economic crysis.

It is a reality that when saving for the web, images should be reduced in size (kilobytes), while still maintaining most of their quality. Loading up a majority of images like yours would probably slow down internet speed considerably for users.
Here is a comparison: your image has a resolution of 364x 525 while it has a size of 559 KB. I also do not think the .bmp format is very popular for the web, actually it isn't at all.
My image has a resolution of 1280 x 825 (print screen without the toolbar) while having a size of only 175 KB. The quality of the image is very good considering its small size.
