Oh yeah!!!!!, possibly the greatest mod I've ever come across in PC gaming.
This is the new F1 mod for GTR EVO, Race 7, RACEON{u can get it from RACE DEPARTMENT, but you must be a member}.
The older F1 mod was a complete mess to me, I couldn't keep it on the track, but on my first lap, I went 7 secs faster than the F3000, and I've yet to improve the set up or do any major practice.
The handling is fucking unreal, and unlike the other F1 mod, you now have a 19000RPM tacho instead of 10000, which meant the tach never moved as it was almost always beyond 10000.
Codemasters F1 2010 will have to be one of the best racing games ever for me to give a shit now that I've got this, and considering how bad some of their games have been lately, I'm not holding my breath.
This is the biggest gaming surprise of 2010, and if anything can surpass this I'll be in Disneyland GAGAAGAGAGAAGAA.
FYI, I'm using a Logitech DFGT wheel.

I've finished with Shift for the moment and I'm back on GTR evo multiplayer.
I generally just race F3000 and the F1 car now, and I'm getting faster all the time, for example, I'm 4 seconds faster at Istanbul compared to my xbox controller+ the FFB thru the wheel is pretty damn good.

hahaahaaah, now they've released the V8 supacar 2010 mod which is superior by every criteria compared to the ordinary 2009 version.
I think I've played Evo for over 500hrs.

In case you're unware.
If you buy GTR Evo, u get 2 versions of the mighty 20-24km Nurburgring track, and you can then also add approx 50 additional tracks and 30-45 additional cars as free mods....and these mods are very easy to install.
GTR is still viable for MP as well, in fact, I just got offline.
The value of GTR Evo is that the game costs bugger all now, and you can add scores of mods for free, so the amount of gameplay time just in SP mode could be 100's of hrs....but I've done over 500hrs on MP in 6months hahahahhhaah.
These Simbin games....{RACE07, GTR Evo, WTCC the game, STCC the game, Vovlo the game{free dl}, and RACEON, all work perfectly with a steering wheel, whereas the console ports vary from okayish to unplayable.
The game also has driver aids for noobs.
Don't be afraid of the simulator part, especially if u have a steering wheel{but it also works very well with a xbox pad, but you're slower than a wheel}......as it's just a question of practice and your lap times will fall+ there's plenty of slow and easy to drive cars with only 200hp, or the Mini for example...a great training wheel.
Once you've properly experienced a good racing sim, there's no going back to nonsense like GRID, you simply won't have the desire or the time to waste on inferior arcade rubbish aimed at kids and tards.

I recently bought GRAN TURISMO 5(Prologue).Suffice to say that it handles much better than 4 and 2.Too bad it needs you to unlock/purchase almost every other car,so I'm stuck with a nice but shitty Citröen :P,A few more hrs and M3 here I come.On a side note,DUALSHOCK 3 is absolutely unacceptable for shooters and AVP has the most horrid controls(even for a console game).

It'll be interesting to test drive GT5 with a wheel, especially as my wheel{DFGT} was made for GT5....but I've been playing Evo again and after the crazy speed of F1 2010 in Tcam mode,GTR Evo F1 2007 feels slower so I'm much faster, and it's easier to control as well.
F1 2010 is a good "game", but EVO's 2007 F1 mod is a sheer joy to drive thanls to superior FFB and overall connection to the road.
