I can't explain it, but I just don't want an objective review. I want it to be critical. But I also want to know how the reviewer felt while playing the game.
it was like if I were to boast to my buddies about a chic I nailed the other day, I'd like spice up the story, I wouldn't tell them that "her tits where an 8.6, and her ass was a 9.2, she screamed real loud but in a manish way, so she gets a 3.0 for sound, but overall I enjoyed the experience, so I give it/her a 7.5"
I just don't want the life sucked out of these reviews. I find that's what gives these reviews appeal.

by today's standards HL1 sucks. Still it was the only game where I thought the sound quality was perfect.
