IMO, Skyrim has some of the best voice acting, not sure why u say that.
As for older games, you're also overlooking that GFX are a part of gameplay, they effectively create the atmosphere of a game, and that's why I can't play HL1 anymore for example.....plus I don't like 2D/Top down games.

I didn't say the game was old just that the graphics were outdated. Anyway, I'll take an old game like HL over Skyrim anyday. Old games still hold up extremely well today, RE4's atmosphere beats the shit out of most games that come out today. It still is creepy and makes you actually feel like you are Leon, going through a chilly village, thunder in the background. RE4 came out around 8 years ago. Hell even Luigi's Mansion on the Gamecube had a better atmosphere than most games these days. A game doesn't necessarily have to have great graphics to have a great atmosphere.
