Anyone who knows Steam knows how it works, and anyone with at least half a brain can deduct from that that Valve is capable of blocking you out of your account (and therefore out of your games on that account). No one (but you apparently) needs the actual experience of being blocked (let alone information from other forums) to make this deduction. But then again, you probably need the experience of jumping into a fire to know that jumping into a fire is dangerous too.
you have no focus at all, you simply seem to dwell into the most impractical unimportant facts. hell, its like saying the electric company is capable of pulling the plug on your lights and therefore out of your ability to use pc. Or its like saying oh these corporate companies, they are like hire and fire and they dont really luv me, bobhohohoo.....so get a grip on reality. its not a big deal to have an account on steam and use it from time to time. i think you have other big problems in life
Beyond that, Steam is fucking awesome!

This is a pretty idiotic comparison, with electric companies it is a technical necessity, whereas with Steam it is a deliberate design choice; they could easily have done without this limitation.

I never said otherwise, I have several steam accounts, I'm just not closing my eyes to the drawbacks (otherwise I would have just 1 account), unlike some more superficial characters here.

delebrate design choice? lets see so they had a meeting in a giant round table conference room and they decided they would deliberately ban your account and then there was a loud roaring laughter......muahahahahaha....yeah right

Dude chill, no one is out to lynch Gabe Newell, it's just good to realize that disposability of products is on the rise. I still can, and occasionally do, play my old NES games (using the time honored method of blowing on the cartridge), but I have no clue as to the state of my XBOX live account, and I can't even remember my password.
